Folks, today I've got the pleasure of bringing you a very special reissue. The Soul Patrol, hailing from small town Many, Louisiana, issued a painfully rare (50 pressed!) 7" single in late 1979 on their own STUD Records imprint. Most copies were given away to friends, essentially vanishing into obscurity for 40+ years - even escaping the various compilers of Killed By Death, Bloodstains Across..., Bonehead Crunchers, and the like - though The Soul Patrol would have stood out on any of those wonderful comps. Happy (Bandcamp) Friday, friends. It's been a long week for many of us, so I'll cut straight to the new and exciting music. People! It's a wonderful day to bring you this Fashion Pimps & The Glamazons album in full. Had a blast in Cleveland last weekend delivering the band their copies of the LP. On that note, CLE locals go see lead Glamazon, Steve Chainsaw, at his Hausfrau Record Shop for a copy. Friends, it's been an absolutely crazy past week here. I've made two trips to the pressing plant to haul 3,000 LPs back to Feel It HQ. Shipped about a third of those out and still have a good amount of packing to do, so I'll keep this relatively short. Today we have the honor of releasing the debut long players from Washington State's LYSOL and Baton Rouge's SPLLIT. These are both very different records that appeal to everyone from hardcore purists to garage rockers to synthy bedroom pop lovers. Hey folks, well it sure feels like summer here in Virginia. Been a real slow few weeks here while we've been waiting for the pressing plant to finish up a hefty amount of represses (Sweeping Promises [finally!], Smirk, and Spread Joy) plus the new Spllit and Lysol LPs. All of this is supposed to finish up by the end of next week, and I have blocked off all of my time to try and get your preorders out the door as soon as possible.
