This is the first vinyl pressing of Townes Van Zandt's last record before his death in 1997 on the occasion of its 30th anniversary. The album features 14 original compositions including "Song For" (which Townes himself famously called "a suicide note"), the lullaby-like "Katie Belle Blue", and "Cowboy Junkies Lament." A record that showcases diverse musical styles and instrumentation, and proves that even at the later stages of his life Van Zandt was still a songwriter of rare power, it was long overdue for a release on vinyl.
