What does it mean to be a Global Voyeur? What does it mean to be a Big Fat Head? Is information not the dominant faith of the 21st century? Is it not data that is the only "thing" of true value today? So vast and so overwhelming it is in its raw essence that it has become practically useless in common hands, and increasingly powerful in the hands of a questionable few. Yet, what is it that drives human life if not want of information? Is this not the same self-serving, instinctual sentiment that drives capitalism and corruption to begin with? Give us a peek. Let me have a taste. A little of this, a little of that. Life was never meant to be as decadent as it has been the past 200 years in America, or since mankind became cognitive for that matter. First conceived in Athens, Ohio as demo recordings by frontman Nate Wilder in 2017, the first legitimate LP, Digital Citizen, arrived via internet and cassette in 2021. A consistent live band was ultimately formed with partner Olivia Stefanoff and close friends Jordan Latas, Stanic Russ, and Felicity Gunn in the aftermath of Covid. The moody and satirical Villain Pop accompanied the formation of the group in 2022, followed by the more upbeat, but equally satirical Bobo Rising in 2024. While sharing a scene in the shadow of Ohio legends like Devo, Breeders, Times New Viking, etc. the band worked tirelessly to carve their own niche-within-a-niche and offer a new flavor of Midwestern Rock 'n' Roll for the world, tinged with over-exposure to the once-rare music, art, and ideas which are now endlessly abundant on the internet. Whilst haunted by the ethical trauma inflicted by Empirical life in the 21st century, the band trudges on in spite to release the teaser EP Mind Your Head in fall 2025, and yet another LP this year, which they consider to be "as pensive as it is explosive".
