"Clean Living" is the third studio album from Columbus, Ohio's preeminent avant-garage band DANA. Having toured extensively the last four years, this is the first full length LP release since 2019's 'Glowing Auras and Black Money'. The controlled chaos of the enduring project, formed by singer/theremin player Madeline Jackson in 2015, is known to oscillate between genres - and 'Clean Living' is no exception. Offering a marriage of populist rock impulses with Dadaist proclivities, 'Clean Living' engages with the zeitgeist and the evergreen on topics such as: of the changing role of technology, compulsion, addiction, and distraction, the importance of community (or lack thereof), and maybe just like a sliver of hope for a way forward in a world run by the most detestable (and dumbest) bastards imaginable.
