New Sweeping Promises single!
Folks, usually I wouldn't bombard your inbox two days in a row, but today is a special occasion. Our beloved Sweeping Promises have a new single, "Pain Without a Touch", out now! If you were lucky enough to see them live on the recent US tour, you'll recognize this one from the set. We're also teaming up with none other than Sub Pop to bring you this single! It is only available digitally, but is a nice taste of what's to come. NPR is already raving about the single and the band has just announced some UK+EU dates for 2022, with advance tickets going on sale Friday. Wow!

“Pain Without a Touch” is the first new music from Sweeping Promises, after the 2020 release of their astonishing, acclaimed debut album Hunger for a Way Out, and their first release for Sub Pop Records. Sub Pop and Feel It Records (who released Hunger for a Way Out, and shepherded the LP through its nine pressings to date) are partnering on the urgent new single, out digitally today from Feel It in North America and Sub Pop for the rest of the world.

would be nice to have this on a 7" single since it won’t be on their new album which is a bummer. a limited vinyl run would be cool.
