New preorders for THE COWBOY, MAN-EATERS, + VANITY

Welcome to the first Feel It newsletter of 2020. Hope everyone's new year is off to a good start! Lots going on since our last newsletter. I had a blast in Australia at the end of 2019. Amazing music scene and hospitality, can't wait to visit again! I was a guest on the Teenage Hate radio show at RRR in Melbourne where I talked about the label with hosts Tim and Christina, and played some tracks off upcoming releases. Speaking of upcoming releases, that's what we're here to talk about today - as three new releases are up for preorder in our *new* webstore.

LABEL NEWS: Preorders for THE COWBOY, MAN-EATERS, + VANITY up now!

Feel It is kicking off 2020 in strong fashion with three new releases, all of which are now available to preorder! As usual, we aim to ship the preorders just before the planned release date of Friday February 28. This round of releases includes:

THE COWBOY "WiFi on the Prairie" LP
Here to take the (20)20's by storm, Cleveland's THE COWBOY bless us with their second full length, "WiFi on The Prairie". Yes, there's more genius to this album than the title alone! Hot on the heels of a new EP on Drunken Sailor, "WiFi on the Prairie" follows with twelve tracks of brute, urgent guitar music steeped in Cleveland's rich rock history. THE COWBOY apply a wonderful angularity to the old budget rock formula, (see 2/3 of the lineup's previous work in HOMOSTUPIDS for further proof) while locking in / jamming out on another level. THE COWBOY are IT - an endearing trio that treads on the competition and writes on a futuristic par. Just don't ask 'em for the WiFi password. Shrinkwrapped with printed inner sleeve + download code.
100 on Cleveland Browns Orange / 400 on Black Preview track, "From The Grave".

MAN-EATERS "Gentle Songs for the Simple Soul" LP
From the same Chicago freaks that brought you TARANTÜLA, CÜLO, and BLEEDING GUMS, comes the debut album from MAN-EATERS. "Gentle Ballads for the Simple Soul" sits at the perfect crossroads of ugly '81 LA punk/HC (think "The Decline" or "Hell Comes to Your House") and glammy mid-70's American hard rock. We're talking high quality stuff like the first albums from KISS or BANG! MAN-EATERS combine the precision and drive of golden era US hardcore/punk with the fluid riffing and driving rhythms of 70's hard rock, perhaps bordering on NWOBHM territory as well. Like a sonic shot of Malört, MAN-EATERS' rugged debut roars out of the gate and sits heavier with each spin.

Packaged with heavyweight 24pt. jacket featuring incredible full color original artwork from MAN-EATERS' own Drügface and an 11"x17" color poster.
100 on Clear Orange w/ Red Swirls / 400 on Black / Preview track "Slow Demise of a Futuristic Mind".

VANITY "Anticlimax" 7" single
Right alongside a stellar upcoming single and 2018 LP on the esteemed Beach Impediment label, NYC's VANITY offer up another double A-sider for Feel It. "Anticlimax"  rolls out of the gate with a cool, Stones-esque confidence, resting on the otherworldly lead guitar of "Groovy" Mike Liebman (formerly of VEXX and RIK & THE PIGS). This irresistibly catchy, glammed-out rocker is backed up with "A Seat at the Table" quickening the pace atop a brilliant walking bass line. While VANITY have excelled in everything from Oi! to Britpop in their fascinating time as a band, both the songwriting and production on this single may be VANITY's highest mark yet.
80 on Sand Cream / 320 on Black / Preview track: "Anticlimax"

After this batch of releases, we've got a new LP from THE COWBOYS (5th album! Headed to finish mastering it today) and a 12" from Baltimore's COLD FEET on deck.
UPCOMING TOURS + GIGS
Keep your calendars open April 17 + 18! To celebrate the 10 year anniversary of Feel It, I'm throwing a little weekend bash here in Richmond, VA. It will be a total of three gigs (not a fest, just strong 3-4 band lineups per gig) and will feature many of the best current American bands on the label. Announcement and poster coming soon!

Watch for SLUMP on tour throughout the Midwest, Texas, and Southeast in late February thru mid March. It'll be their first big tour on the Flashbacks from Black Dust Country album. Dates to be announced soon.
