Smirk - Material LP announcement, Class + Delivery LPs shipping now!

Howdy folks, back with a big announcement - the new LP from Smirk is finally available to preorder! It's the first proper Smirk full length, and seriously - every song is a hit. It was tough choosing the singles for this one, but I think "Souvenir" is a perfect introduction to how great Material is. Preorders are also available through Drunken Sailor and Sorry State for int'l folks looking to save a bit on shipping. Speaking of preorders, both the Class and Delivery LPs showed up this week and I'm about to dive into shipping them out!

Post-Trash premiere of "Souvenir". Bandcamp Preorder direct from Feel It - 300 yellow vinyl available   As the Decline of Western Civilization comes into full focus, our ears turn once again to Los Angeles. The first proper full length from Smirk could very well be the soundtrack to a Decline pt. IV, with tracks like "Living in Hell" and "Hopeless" delivered for a whole new generation of latchkey kids. 'Material' follows 2021's 100% TOTAL PUNK 'EP' and 2020's 'LP', which collected the first two cassettes-de-quarantine that began Nick Vicario's run as Smirk. If you've worn out your copies of those releases, then 'Material' needs no further explanation. But if you're wondering where the magic is - let's start with pure, quality songwriting. Vicario and his revolving cast of Smirk players have really done it this time. It's punk, California, paranoia, guitars, rhythm, and a sense of humor-slash-purpose joining forces to combat reality in the truest sense. Smirk have produced an impressive punk encapsulation of the times across the web of sound on 'Material'.   release date 11/18 - preorders shipping mid-late November.

The skies have opened, and the pressing plant overlords managed to get us not one, but two upcoming releases ahead of schedule! Preorders shipping now. Check out the new Class single "Left in the Sink" - LP out 10/28. Delivery will be back with a third single off their debut LP (out 11/11) next week!

Private Lives - S/T CS out now!

Five tracks of incredibly vital and hard hitting punk from Montréal! Private Lives morphed from the pandemic bedroom project of husband and wife Chance (guitar) and Jackie (vocals) into a full-fledged band with the addition of Frank (drums) and Josh (bass). Previous projects include Priors, Pale Lips and Lonely Parade. Private Lives stretch their sound from tuneful, straightforward punk to atmospheric post-punk with surfy guitar leads and vibrant vocals right up front in the mix.
