RIK AND THE PIGS "Life's A Bust" 7" out now

Posted by Sam Richardson on 8/19/2016
Hey everyone!  The long awaited Rik and the Pigs "Life's A Bust" 7" is now available on Feel It.  I'll keep this short since I've got to run to work, but plain and simple, this 7" rules.  It is one of my favorite releases on the label thus far and I'm excited to finally have this thing out.

The second 7” from RIK AND THE PIGS is finally here, a smoking follow-up to 2015's "Pig Sweat" single on Total Punk. “Life's A Bust” features three new tracks recorded between Rik's time in Portland and his new home base of Olympia, WA. Side A boasts two cuts of completely savage and hook-filled punk – exactly the kind of snot and filth that you'd expect from Rik & Co. On the flip, “Life's A Bust” is a completely different animal, a loose and driving five minute tune featuring incredible guitar work and drumming from Michael Liebman and Corey Rose of Olympia's VEXX. Cut loud at 45RPM by Josh Bonati and housed in a full color glue pocket sleeve, this just might be the ultimate Pigs release to date. FEEL IT 09.

Up next on Feel It is a new 7" from Cleveland's BAD NOIDS.  I caught them open up the matinee gig at Horriblefest this past May and was blown away by the new songs in the set.  We got to talking and I figured out that they had recorded three new songs, and boy, these are easily my favorite BAD NOIDS recordings yet.  Test pressings arrive today and we plan to have this one out by the time that BAD NOIDS leave for their second European tour in early October!  Have a listen to "Into The Future" from the new 7".
KALEIDOSCOPE recently returned from a successful US tour.  They will be recording "Vol. 3" in it's entirety for a 12" on Feel It, lets plan on seeing that in early 2017.
I'll have some cool new exclusive distro items soon, expect an update in early September with the new issue of DEFIANT POSE mag from London, which will feature a 7" of unreleased material from VOID (not the DC group! This UK VOID were first wave late-70's punks).  That's about it for now, stay tuned and stay cool.
