Self-released cassette version of the debut album from Portland's DAYDREAM. It looks like this is coming out on LP in Europe but seems like the band is just doing a cassette pressing over here. Anyhow, the sound here is really interesting - almost has a Uranium Club level of jittery guitar interplay mixed with a much more HC punk production and range of tempo changes. Kinda reminds me of a more "open" version of that Strutter 7" that came out a couple years back, and then at times I hear Daydream going for a completely noise rock/guitar damaged thing. Very interesting stuff and well played/produced nonetheless! Writing this review after one listen is kinda tough which definitely speaks to the well-fleshed out style that Daydream displays across this pro-dubbed/pro-printed album on tape.
